Dr. O'Connell is a family physician practicing integrative medicine in a conventional family practice setting in Sarasota, Florida. She graduated Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine, University of London in 1973 and undertook her Family Practice training Exeter Devon. Dr. O'Connel underwent further training in Obstetrics and Gynecology and, has found her Gynecological training to be very useful in her practice.
She was a British General Practitioner for six years in Devon, England before marrying a fellow family physician from United States. She imigrated to Florida in 1985 and joined her husband in Family Practice in 1990. After their divorce she has been in solo family practice since 2000.
She has one son, who graduated from Villanova University with a Masters in Computer Engineering and is now working as a Computer Software Engineer in Boulder Colorado.
Dr. O'Connell blends Intergrative medical expertise within a traditional family practice.
